3.6.1 a Memory Hog
Update Version 3.6.1: It’s using anywhere from 7-12 GB of memory to optimize the library - it’s using so much memory I can’t do anything else on my computer. I haven’t even had a chance to try it out as it crashed the first time it tried to optimize the library, apparently due to a lack of available memory.
Update: Version 3.5.3: still having issues with stops/freezes of streaming video when in use (on Mountain Lion) - this is a big problem if you’re trying to take a screenshot of the playing video at just the right moment - this wasnt a problem with v. 3.4 so I dont understand why its a problem now.
Update: Version 3.5 stops/freezes all streaming video when in use (on Mountain Lion) - this is a problem if you’re trying to take a screenshot of the playing video at just the right moment. I’m sticking with v. 3.4 until this is fixed. Otherwise I really like this program, although it tends to run quite slow if you need successive screenshots.
Update: Upgraded to Mavericks, program still doesn’t work! Back to using v. 3.0.7, which is painfully slow and frozen half the time. A shame, I used to love this program. Lots of Console errors.
The last two updates havent worked at all under Lion. The program opens, but remains frozen and grayed out, no matter what you do.
